you need a helping hand to get yourself out of a slump.
the question now is if you could provide that hand for someone else?

I found a download link for this song at thewordisbond.com. With this so called “last beat,” i had a thought. What is the emphasis on the last song or the death of an artist? The death of an artist is sad, and may be depressing even, but I try to ignore such facts: it takes away from the music. The only thing I find depressing is that he never finished his song.
What is the importance of death for someone like Nujabes?
He’s personified in his music, he Is his music, and something like death is insignificant, on the condition that we keep on listening to him, and that we accept humbly his offering.
Sure I listen to the dribble on the radio, because different types of music affect different emotions, stages, and parts of myself. However, only music like Nujabes’ will cling to me for life.
So this song is considered the Last Beat, yet I ask you to not think of this excerpt as his last song. At least once, listen to it ambitiously and try to interpret for yourself what he was trying to portray to you, the listener.
Jun Sabes aka Nujabes died, but his memory is vivid in the form of song for all who are willingly to listen.
